Morphamish makes lots of different music across the broad bass music spectrum. His tracks, live sets and dj mixes incorporate elements of techno, dubstep, breakbeats, house, garage, jungle, breakcore, hardtek, ambient, hiphop, folktronica and more. He's happy making any music from the gentle to the mental, depending on the mood.

He started out under various aliases - Morph, Sola Perplexus, Double Helix (with vocalist Texture) - as a live resident at legendary Edinburgh nights Pillbox and Obscene. He has released on Crystal Distortion (of Spiral Tribe)'s Labrat Audiochemicals, and on Skream Club's Crunk's Not Dead labels. He is now part of the Black Lantern Music, Edinburgh Tekno Cartel, and London's Phuture Motive collectives, and goes by the name Morphamish for all projects.

He performs live as a solo artist, plays gigs with vocalist/lyricist Texture (Black Lantern), and does dual Ableton sets with producer Tactus (Abaga), they vary in style but generally get fairly intense! He's played too many gigs to mention around the UK and Ireland.

Previous collaborations/remixes include Profisee (Phuturelabs), Full Blush (Black Lantern), Anneke (Conquering Animal Sound), MAKO (NoMad), B-Burg (Akira Kiteshi live), as well ongoing work with longstanding production partners Texture, and Paranoise (Volume).

His music has had support from Radio 1's Mary Anne Hobbes, Rob Da Bank, Huw Stephens, Vic Galloway (chosen as 'One To Watch' for 2010), Ally McCrae (including a Introducing Scotland Live Session), Introducing Northern Ireland's Rory McConnell, One Music Scottish Electronica Special and Huw Stephens' Best Of Unsigned Podcast. Other DJs that have supported his music include Gravious, Akira Kiteshi, Mad E.P., Warlock, No Yeah No, Dj Flight, Blackmass Plastics, DFRNT, and sci fi godfather Warren Ellis.
